BC-based company continues to deliver top adventure experiences under new ownership
Pukeashun Wilderness Inc. (operating as “Grizzly Lodge”) offers exhilarating backcountry snowmobiling experiences below the peak of Pukeashun Mountain in the Thompson-Okanagan Region of Interior British Columbia. Since 2009, owners Adam and Rachel Trainer have built the lodge into a premier destination for snowmobile enthusiasts and adventure seekers. Today it stands as Canada’s only full-service backcountry snowmobile lodge and wilderness escape.
When Adam and Rachel decided they were ready to sell Grizzly Lodge, they turned to our M&A team for guidance. We helped with the entire sell-side process, including the preparation of marketing documents, finding the right buyer, supporting negotiations, supporting an extensive due diligence process, and working with their lawyers and accountants to bring the deal to a successful close. Paul Pittman and Palmer Thornton were chosen as the right buyers who will continue to build upon Grizzly Lodge’s reputation as a world-class adventure operator with its current team of dedicated employees. To ensure a smooth transition where the management team and new ownership are well supported, Adam will stay on for a period of time. The new owners are looking forward to delivering the same incredible service and hospitality to Grizzly Lodge’s loyal customers.
