In my role as a Senior Manager specializing in Customs and Global Trade, I enjoy de-mystifying the world of customs to help businesses minimize customs risk, mitigate duty spend, and maintain compliance—all while meeting their business goals.

Whether a large multinational corporation, small business, or an individual, I enjoy supporting my clients through any cross-border activity. My unique combination of agency, industry, and service provider experience over the last 25 years allows me to approach trade compliance challenges in an encompassing, solution-oriented way.

Prior to joining Doane Grant Thornton, I worked in various progressively senior positions with the Canada Border Services Agency, rounding out my 16 years there as an auditor. I then moved to industry, joining one of the largest North American energy infrastructure companies, learning all that I could in the just over 5 years I was there. Most recently, I was a Senior Manager of Global Trade at a large-scale firm, and a Senior Consultant with one of North America’s largest customs brokers. My strong and varied compliance background ensures I bring a broad perspective when speaking with clients about their customs and global trade activities.In my down time you will find me listening to music, spending time with my two favourite, not-so-little humans, or playing fetch with Bella, our wonder dog.
