Sarah McLellan

Specializing in global mobility, I help clients navigate the tax, payroll, and compliance implications of a globally mobile workforce, whether it’s occasional work travel or fully remote employees.

Over my 20-year career, I’ve worked with employers and their teams across various industries, including manufacturing, consumer goods, and technology. Depending on a client’s specific situation, I always work to scale my advice and guidance and tailor a plan to their needs—whether they have a well-established mobility program or are just beginning to address the implications of employee travel.

Because mobility matters often touch personal tax, payroll, corporate tax, and immigration considerations, I collaborate with colleagues across Canada and around the world to deliver practical, coordinated solutions for clients. I hold a Masters of Accounting from the University of Waterloo and I’m a Canadian CPA, CA and a US CPA. I’ve also co-authored industry publications, including past editions of “Introduction to International Tax in Canada.”

Outside of work, I enjoy giving back to my community. I’m currently serving as a director on Habitat for Humanity Waterloo Region’s board. I love spending time with my son and daughter supporting their interests and activities, as well as reading and baking.
