Over more than 35 years in public accounting and business advisory, I’ve helped international companies establish and grow their operations in Canada, while supporting Canadian businesses expanding into the United States. My experience spans accounting, audit, tax, and advisory services, with a particular focus on helping privately held companies navigate change, manage risk, and pursue growth opportunities.
I advise clients on transactional due diligence, shareholder and matrimonial matters, business financing, cash management and buy-sell arrangements. Having worked closely with lenders and investors throughout my career, I understand what they look for when assessing a business and can help clients position themselves effectively when seeking capital or evaluating strategic opportunities.
Before joining Doane Grant Thornton, I was the Managing Partner of another public accounting firm. I also served on the Practice Inspection Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario and the North American Advisory Board of Alliott Global Alliance.
