I work alongside business owners to bring clarity to complex situations, helping them navigate any challenge with confidence. It’s important to me that I build trusting relationships with my clients, which is why I take the time to truly understand their business, their pressures, and their priorities. By listening closely and acting quickly, I help develop practical, tailored solutions that relieve stress and create a path forward—whether that means stabilizing operations or turning a company around. Having a strong connection with my clients allows me to help their business early on, when options for their next steps are more plentiful.
With more than twenty years of experience in insolvency and restructuring, I’ve worked with both lenders and debtors across Atlantic Canada in the real estate and construction, manufacturing, agriculture, aquaculture, and industrial industries. I specialize in proposals, receiverships, bankruptcies under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (BIA), and plans of arrangement under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act (CCAA), as well as business reviews, cash flow monitoring, and deal structuring.
Over the years, I’ve led and supported teams of varying sizes, combining technical expertise with a highly responsive, client-first approach.
In addition to being a Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional, and a Licensed Insolvency Trustee, I’m also a Chartered Professional Accountant. I have over five years of audit and assurance experience and a background with a Big Four firm.
Outside of work, I’m passionate about the environment, previously serving as the Treasurer of the East Coast Environmental Law Association. I also love spending time with family and volunteering with many of my daughter’s activities. Together, we also enjoy spending time outdoors camping, biking, and skiing.
