With more than 20 years of experience in Assurance, I help publicly listed companies, private equity–backed and professionally-managed businesses and investment funds navigate complex financial reporting and regulatory issues. My background in national accounting standards—with deep expertise in IFRS Accounting Standards and US GAAP—helps me anticipate issues, simplify complexity, and deliver technical solutions that are also practical and fit for each client’s unique circumstances.
Over the course of my career, I’ve worked with organizations across a wide range of industries and supported businesses through key moments in their growth journey. This includes helping private companies buy or sell businesses, advising private equity transactions, and supporting publicly listed entities through IPO and reverse takeover transactions. I am particularly known for translating complex accounting standards into clear, solution‑oriented guidance that helps clients move forward with confidence.
I also serve as the firm’s IBC Director, acting as the point of contact for all international opportunities involving Canada. In this role, I oversee international requests for proposals, coordinate cross‑border engagements with Grant Thornton member firms, and ensure the right teams are brought together to support clients operating across jurisdictions.
In addition, as Audit Leader for Southern Ontario, I work to develop the next generation of assurance professionals through mentoring emerging advisors and supporting campus recruitment initiatives.
Outside of work, I enjoy being active and spending time with my two daughters, whether that’s getting outside for walks and sports, or staying in and reading or playing games together.
