I began my career with another public accounting firm, where I articled after completing my Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Simon Fraser University. During my time there, I worked in both the tax and assurance groups and earned my Chartered Accountant (CA) designation in 2009. In 2010, I established Rennie Financial with a vision of building a firm known for outstanding client service, strong relationships, and professional excellence. In 2026, I joined Doane Grant Thornton as part of the firm's combination with Rennie Financial.
Over the years, I’ve developed extensive experience advising businesses and their owners across a wide range of assurance, tax, and business matters. As a partner with Doane Grant Thornton, I’m passionate about mentoring and developing the next generation of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and exceptional client service.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and staying active through CrossFit, running, golf, skiing, and waterskiing. As the proud father of two children, I value balance, personal growth, and community, and I’m committed to helping both our clients and our team achieve lasting success.
