As the Regional Managing Partner for Atlantic Canada, I lead a team of highly skilled and diverse business advisors. We support a wide range of private and public organizations and give back to the communities in which we live. Prior to this role, I was the Managing Partner for Nova Scotia, overseeing the province’s 11 office locations. Whether leading a team of highly skilled professional advisors or assisting our clients, I rely on active listening and collaboration. As a past assurance service leader, I understand the importance of both a holistic and individual approach to every business situation. During my tenure, I developed a good understanding of the technical side of our practice which helps me identify opportunities and create strategies to develop my client’s business potential.
Committed to my team and their professional development, I use every opportunity to share professional insights with young colleagues. Having completed our firm’s “LEADer as Coach” program, I dedicate my time to mentoring and supporting the growth of our people which I find very rewarding.
The BMO Ride for Cancer continues to be the most energizing community work I do. I’ve helped lead the firm’s participation for many years, riding with colleagues and raising funds to advance cancer care in Nova Scotia. My commitment to community also includes eight years on the Neptune Theatre Board of Directors, where I provided governance and strategic guidance.
When I’m not in the office, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family and taking in Nova Scotia’s natural beauty, or travelling to explore new places together.
