I can help clients with financial planning, succession planning, reporting, tax strategy, and audit.

Over 19 years, I’ve built a portfolio of small- to medium-sized privately held businesses, municipalities, and First Nations communities. Whether supporting a one off request or advising on a complex, interrelated series of projects, I look at the broader financial and organizational environment to help clients seize business opportunities. Bringing in various colleagues to address specific issues, I connect my clients with a wide range of the firm’s expertise.

With a keen interest in developing the next generation of finance professionals, I was previously a part-time instructor at Cape Breton University. I also share knowledge as a regular speaker at local Chamber of Commerce events.

Within my community, I serve as Treasurer for the Sydney River Recreation Society, and coach basketball teams at the elementary and middle school level.

With a lot going on in the office, I enjoy spending my personal time playing basketball or relaxing at the lake.
