Prime Minister Mark Carney announces support for Canada’s lumber industry citing heavy reliance on US exports and vulnerability to trade policies.
For nearly three decades, I’ve helped organizations find clarity, stability, and new opportunities in the midst of financial complexity. As the National Leader of Doane Grant Thornton’s Restructuring practice, I bring deep experience guiding private businesses, financial institutions, lenders, regulators, and government bodies through high‑stakes restructuring and recovery mandates.
Over the course of my career, I’ve worked on complex, multi‑jurisdictional insolvency matters. As a Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional, and Licensed Insolvency Trustee, I provide a full range of professional insolvency and financial advisory services across sectors including real estate, financial services, manufacturing, automotive, and more. I also support Canada’s chartered banks, private lenders, distressed companies, and public‑sector organizations with strategies designed to restore stability and create long‑term value. In 2025, I was honoured to receive a Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals (CAIRP) Fellowship—a recognition that reflects years of working alongside dedicated colleagues and peers to support the profession and the broader insolvency community.
I remain actively involved in the restructuring community as a member of the Turnaround Management Association and the Insolvency Institute of Canada (IIC), and I frequently present at conferences and contribute to industry publications on insolvency and restructuring trends.
Outside of work, my priority is spending time with my family. I’m also an avid runner and cyclist, and I’m passionate about exploring architecture—whether in Toronto or abroad.
