Jennifer received this prestigious honour at an awards ceremony in Toronto on November 27, 2025. She was recognized in the Professionals category, which celebrates leaders who demonstrate exceptional expertise and influence within their organizations.

Since re-joining our firm earlier this year, Jennifer has made a remarkable impact on her clients, colleagues, and community on Prince Edward Island.

“WXN’s mantra, “Bold Women. Epic Journeys.” is certainly applicable to Jennifer and her career. She noted a defining moment was when she testified on tax policy to the Canadian Senate—a bold step driven by her deep sense of responsibility to speak-up for the business community on critical issues. We’re very proud of Jennifer and all that she has accomplished,” says Blair Dunn, Managing Partner, Prince Edward Island.

With more than 20 years of experience, Jennifer brings deep expertise across sectors including retail, agriculture, manufacturing, consumer business, and real estate and construction. She’s a trusted advisor to entrepreneurs and an advocate for fair corporate income tax rules affecting private business owners.

“I’m truly honoured to be recognized among Canada’s 100 Most Powerful Women by the WXN. This award is a reflection not only of my own journey, but of the incredible mentors, colleagues, and leaders who have guided and inspired me along the way. I’m deeply grateful for their support and for the opportunities to contribute to our profession and community. At Doane Grant Thornton, I’m proud to work alongside a team committed to excellence and collaboration, and I look forward to continuing to help our clients, colleagues, and communities thrive,” says Jennifer.

Beyond her professional achievements, Jennifer is a committed community leader. She serves on the board of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation, contributing to its finance, investment, and strategy committees. As Chair of CPA Prince Edward Island, she helps guide governance and strategic direction to strengthen the accounting profession in the province.

WXN is a leading network dedicated to advancing women in leadership across North America, fostering professional development, networking, and thought leadership to empower women to rise and lead.
