My accounting career started at 13 years old, helping my mother do payroll for her small business at the kitchen table using that infamous big green book. Today, I’m a CPA with many years of experience in both small and large family-owned and operated businesses.
In the time in between, I was a founding partner of Pharos Business & Taxation Advisors before joining Doane Grant Thornton. I’ve also had four children, numerous pets from newts to dogs, and received my CMA designation in 2004 with my third child in my arms.
I love to help business owners plan--whether planning to minimize tax yearly, planning their retirements, or planning successions. My goal is to help in any way I can and add value to their day-to-day operations from an accounting perspective. My clients range from retail stores to manufacturing companies to service industries, many of which are family-owned and operated. I like to look at the big picture and help clients reach their big picture goals by assisting them with the little steps along the way.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy crochet, Sudoku puzzles, and spending time with my now adult children and my husband.
