As a CRA tax compliance auditor in the past, I bring a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape. Since moving into public accounting in 2013, I’ve used that insight to help clients stay ahead of evolving legislation and CRA policies. I treat every touch point as an opportunity to understand my clients’ businesses and develop trusting relationships. The constant learning that comes with working in indirect tax makes me passionate about the ability to break complex tax concepts into insights that make sense to my clients. While I’m a generalist indirect tax practitioner, I specialize in helping real estate businesses and non-profit organizations.
Coaching colleagues and contributing to the broader tax community is one of the most rewarding parts of my career. I’ve had the privilege of teaching and presenting at Canadian Tax Foundation conferences, leading tutorials for the GST/HST In-depth program, and facilitating CPA Canada courses.
