From operational improvements to uncovering tax and advisory opportunities, I focus on building trusted relationships that go beyond compliance.
With over a decade of experience as a CPA, I manage a diverse portfolio of charities, not-for-profits, and industries including construction, fishing, farming, trucking, real estate, retail, and professional services. My expertise includes year-end financial reporting, personal and corporate tax compliance, and advisory services.
Beyond client work, I'm passionate about developing future leaders. I serve as a coach and CPA mentor, lead training initiatives, and create opportunities for colleagues to engage directly with clients, helping them build confidence and rewarding careers. I’ve also participated in a CPA Atlantic School of Business panel aimed at inspiring the next generation of professionals.
Community impact is central to my values. Born and raised on PEI, I take pride in my local network and continue to make connections within this close-knit community. It's also important to me to give back where I can. I co-chair our Doane Grant Thornton Foundation Greater Purpose Committee, and volunteer with organizations supporting youth, education, and mental health, including the Breakfast Program at my son's school. I was honoured to receive a CEO Community Service award for these efforts.
