I enjoy working closely with business owners, farmers, professionals, and families throughout Southern Alberta, offering practical advice rooted in real relationships. I began my accounting career in 2002, more out of necessity than passion, but grew to love the job and people I work with. After over a decade of experience, I earned my CPA, CA designation in 2016.
Before joining Doane Grant Thornton, I co-founded Capstone Chartered Professional Accountants, where we built a firm that prioritized trust, responsiveness, and community connection. Joining the firm in 2025 was a natural next step, allowing us to keep our local presence while gaining access to a broader national network of resources and expertise.
Beyond the office, I’m deeply invested in my community. I’ve been involved in a range of local initiatives—from local schools and youth sports organizations to charities and community projects. Giving back and staying connected to the people around me is something I truly value.
At the end of the day, family is everything. I live in Coaldale with my wife Janice and our kids, and we love spending time outdoors—especially camping and weekend trips all over the province. I’m also a big fan of hockey, golf, and watching volleyball, particularly when my kids are on the court.
