With more than 25 years of experience in public practice, I’ve built a diverse career providing financial accounting, audit, tax, and business advisory services to private enterprises, professional firms, and high net worth individuals.
Originally from Montreal, I was born and raised in the city and am fluent in English with a working knowledge of French. I completed my undergraduate studies in political science at Concordia University and later pursued public accountancy at McGill University.
I hold several professional designations, including the Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA), the U.S. Certified Public Accountant (CPA), the Certified Financial Planner (CFP), and the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). In 2016, I further enhanced my technical expertise by completing CPA Canada’s three year In Depth Tax Program, enabling me to provide more comprehensive Canadian tax advisory services.
My professional experience includes serving as an Assurance Senior Manager for national CPA firms in both Montreal and Toronto and as Senior Manager of Financial Reporting for a large Canadian real estate investment trust. In 2006, I joined the partnership of a mid sized CPA firm with offices in Toronto and Mississauga, where I acted as engagement partner on audits of junior public companies.
In 2012, my family and I relocated from Toronto to St. Catharines to raise our two children in the more relaxed environment of the Niagara Region. The following year, I established a sole practitioner public accounting practice, offering consulting services to CPA firms and providing financial accounting, assurance, tax (including U.S. cross border), and business advisory services to clients in St. Catharines, the Niagara area, and the greater Hamilton region.
I later partnered with a mid sized, full service public accounting firm in Hamilton, continuing to serve owner managed businesses and high net worth individuals across a broad range of industries.
In early 2026, I joined the firm as a Principal in the Independent Business Group at the firm’s St. Catharines office.
My family and I are active members of our church in Niagara Falls and participate regularly in its social and charitable initiatives. Outside of my professional commitments, I’m passionate about cycling—especially along the scenic backroads of Niagara on the Lake—and enjoy outdoor activities such as golfing and hiking.
