With over two decades of experience in domestic tax, I assist clients in the privately-held business sector in navigating the complexities of buying and selling businesses, transitioning their family-owned businesses to the next generation, and assist with succession and estate planning.
I’m fortunate to not only draw on my experiences in developing strategies and solutions for our clients but also leverage the knowledge of the many amazing practitioners that I work with. Together, we curate the best solutions, enabling me to provide quality advisory and tax planning guidance to my clients.
I’m a member of the of the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia, the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners Canada , the Canadian Tax Foundation, and our national estate and succession team. I’ve also been a member of the Canadian Association of Family Enterprises and the Canadian Association of Gift Planners (CAGP).
I’ve also presented at the BC Tax Conference for the Canadian Tax Foundation and to third party accountants on a wide variety of topics that impact privately held businesses. Additionally, I’ve spent several years tutoring in-depth tax issues for the owner-managed business.
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, skiing, reading a good book, and traveling with friends and family.
