Corey Button

I help clients navigate succession, estate, and will planning, as well as assist with income tax matters related to transitioning their wealth across generations. With over two decades of professional experience, I provide guidance on buying and selling decisions and support business owners through corporate restructurings.

With experience gained at big four and boutique firms, I served a wide range of clients including local, national, and multinational companies in both public and private sectors. Now focused on helping family-owned businesses operating in Newfoundland and Labrador, I’ve built a strong professional network and deep understanding of the local business landscape.

Cultivating strong relationships with my clients is important to me, which is why I aim to have in-depth conversations about their plans, goals, and concerns. Listening to business owners helps me determine their needs and ways I can support. Through regular touchpoints, I work to alleviate concerns and provide clarity to create trust with clients. As a Trust and Estate Practitioner, I develop practical solutions to support both the family and business interests. Additionally, I provide guidance and assistance to clients and their staff with respect to various income tax matters.

An active community member, I’m Treasurer of both the Campia Gymnastics Club Inc. and the Newfoundland and Labrador Historical Society. I’ve held these roles for eight years and am proud to support important community organizations. Since the beginning of my career, I’ve also volunteered with the CPA Tax Clinic for Seniors.

When I’m not in the office, you can find me spending time enjoying physical activities like playing hockey, softball, or golfing.
